In cases where your pet requires critical 24-hour care, we will refer you to a trusted 24-hour hospital to ensure that your pet receives the proper care they need. We urge you to call our office immediately in the event of an emergency, so we can prepare all necessary services before you and your pet arrive. Please contact us at (786) 396-1209 during our regular clinic hours, which are from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. Our team is always here to provide compassionate care for your pet, whenever you need us.

If you feel that your pet needs urgent care, simply contact our office, and we will arrange a suitable time for them to be seen by our experienced team. We See Pets for Any of the Following Crises Requiring Urgent Attention:

Excessive bleeding
Poison ingestion (suspected or observed)
Severe pain, collapse, or more than one seizure within 24 hours
Critical injuries or trauma (car accident, broken bone, animal attack)
Diarrhea or vomiting that continues for long periods of time
Fever, shock, or depression
Trouble breathing or continual coughing
Ingestion of foreign objects (eating a toy, piece of wood or plastic, needles, etc.)
In case you suspect that your pet has ingested toxic substances outside of our office hours, we strongly recommend that you contact the American Association of Poison Control Centers at 1-800-222-1222 for immediate assistance. Our team understands the urgency and potential risks associated with pet poisoning, and we encourage you to seek prompt attention to ensure your pet's health and well-being.
